What are the pre-requisites for Ki-BookMark?
Following softwares need to be pre-installed on your computer before
Ki-BookMark is installed.
- Microsoft .NET framework, freely available from
Microsoft web site.
- Microsoft Installer 2.0, freely available from
Microsoft web site.

How do I install Ki-BookMark?
Ki-BookMark is freely
downloadable from our site. Make sure that your computer meets all
pre-requisites. To download the product, click
here.
Save the downloaded file "ki-bookmark.msi" to a convenient location
on your computer and double-click on the file. This will bring up a
welcome page and guide you through the rest of the installation.

How do I use Ki-BookMark?
Once successfully
installed, launch Ki-BookMark. There will be two tabs namely 'Programs'
and 'Customise'. Using 'Customise' tab, you can create/rename/delete/re-arrange
tabs if necessary. Before deleting any tab make sure that the tab does not contain
any bookmarks. Once you have made any changes in the
'Customise' tab, 'Apply' button will be enabled. Click on it, to apply
the changes you have made. Alternatively, click on 'Undo' button to
abort the changes.
To bookmark an item, simply drag-drop it
into the respective tabs using mouse. To delete an existing bookmark,
select the bookmark by clicking on it and press 'Delete' key. To
launch a bookmarked item, double-click on it. You can schedule Ki-BookMark
to start at Windows Startup, by selecting the option in the 'Customise' tab
and clicking 'Apply' button.
Once Ki-BookMark is launched, it will sit in the System Tray. Either
double-click on the icon or right-click and select 'Open'. To
quit, right-click on the icon and select 'Exit'.

Why can't I bookmark certain items like 'My Computer',
'My Network Places', 'Recycle Bin' etc?
If you cannot bookmark any item by drag and drop into Ki-BookMark tabs,
create a shortcut for the item and then drag and drop the shortcut. This
shortcut can be deleted, once you have dropped it into the tab.

How can I uninstall Ki-BookMark?
- Right click on Ki-BookMark icon on the system tray and click "Exit"
- Go to "Control Panel" in Windows.
- Choose "Add or Remove Programs".
- Highlight "Ki-BookMark" in the list of programs and click on "Remove".
